Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) services across NHS Lothian are involved in a range of projects and initiatives within early years; working closely with children, families, education and other partnership agencies.
SLT assistance in the Early Years is offered through different types of service delivery. Our different forms of service can be considered in the three recognised roles of Universal, Targeted and Specialist (see below). Our local teams deliver support at all 3 levels.
